I was invited by Entrelac to talk about #HomeOffice #Bureauàlamaison. This was an opportunity to discuss with Marion Majou about the challenges and opportunities of working from home. We talked about flexibility, tolerance and communication to establish space awareness tactics to help you prepare to changing conditions. The occupant of a space needs to consider the architectural and behavioral aspects that may influence their #productivity. Hence, we also touched on the relevance of #coworking spaces as complements to remote working routines.
It is essential to understand that there is not one “perfect” solution that may “fit all”. The Home Office environment is a system, one that is composed by space, time, and YOU, the occupant. It is a multidimensional concept that requires your conscious participation and willingness to adapt. It is not a product with an “on - off” button. It highly depends on our disposition to embrace a dynamic problem-solving approach. By focusing on the WHY, the HOW will follow. Small changes go a long way.
